THE PENICILLIN
Created in New York in the early 2000's, it's name derives from the drug penicillin hinting to the medicinal properties of some of its ingredients, with suggested effects similar to that of a hot toddy which is said to relieve the symptoms of cold and flu. INGREDIENTS:
• 45ML BARREL AGED DUTCHY THOMAS
• 20 ML HONEY GINGER SYRUP
• 20 ML LEMON JUICE
• 7.5 ML ISLAY SCOTCH
METHOD:
1. SHAKE ALL INGREDIENTS EXCEPT FOR SCOTCH ON ICE
2. STRAIN INTO ICE FILLED TUMBLER
3. FLOAT ISLAY SCOTCH ON TOP
4. GARNISH WITH LEMON SLICE
